The Rama Charitable Arogyadham non-profit organization has been working tirelessly over the past decade to rebuild hospital facilities and services that were destroyed in a tragic 2001 earthquake, leaving over 140,000 impoverished villagers with little to no access to preventive and curative medical services. The charity will provide for a cataract surgery machine, the next key piece to the redevelopment of this Primary Eye Care Unit within Dwarka, Gujarat, India.
Dwarka, Gujarat suffered substantial irreparable damage caused by a 7.7 earthquake in 2001. Since that time, this historic city by the sea has rebuilt much of its infrastructure, but continues to lack adequate public medical care facilities for the regional villages that have historically relied on this city for low-cost medical care. Our Dwarka charity project will continue to enable the development of such facilities.
Special thanks to these prior and current sponsors for their generous contributions to this charitable cause and ongoing support.
Help make a difference and make a charitable, tax-deductible donation and join us at the Dwarka Project fundraising lunch on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Your help will bring the world into focus for countless individuals throughout the Dwarka region.
